Elia Transmission is a transmission system operator for the high-voltage grid in Belgium.

50Hertz Transmission is its counterpart in north-east Germany.

These two companies are the heart of the Elia Group.

Interestingly, there is not much of a growth or decline in price, which is what led me to post about it.

The average dividend is 1.4 Euro, Share price is 34.1 Euro.

Using a Gordon Growth Dividend model valuation, at 34.1 Euro, it is priced for a 6.41% rate of return in perpetuity.

If you are okay with that return, this is a vehicle for you.

If you want around 8% rate of return, you should wait to buy this if it falls to 24.93.

Word of caution in the last 5 years, it fell only to 24.29 on one day in March 20, 2009, which as we now know was the start of a bull run, so, it may never reach 24.93 in the near future.
