selling half of the 120-units release - is really "nonthing to crow" about... coz that's only 60-units sold out of total 689-units in project - only 8.7% of project sold (by units)
though, I do believe that Wheelock at current $1.62, do offer good value for money now, despite the slow sales for its project "The Panorama"...I'm vested

Encouraging: Chesterton International MD Donald Han says the Ang Mo Kio project and the Hillford in Bukit Timah offer a good start for the market going into 2014. The Panorama is scheduled for completion in 2019

HALF of the 120 units released for sale at The Panorama condominium were booked yesterday, developer Wheelock Properties said.

Located at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 2, The Panorama is Wheelock's first 99-year suburban condo project here in nearly two decades.
Prices of the units sold ranged from $650,000 for the one bedroom units to nearly $2.4 million for the five bedroom units.
Majority of the units sold were two and three bedroom types, with sizes ranging from 678 square feet (sq ft) to 1,130 sq ft.

The developer said that most buyers were owner-occupiers with young families, with the ages of buyers spanning from thirties to fifties.
While buyers came from across Singapore, most are residing in District 20 comprising Ang Mo Kio, Thomson and Bishan.

While Wheelock did not release the average price per square foot (psf), prices quoted by a Knight Frank agent ahead of the launch ranged from $1,265-$1,320 psf for the two bedroom units and $1,293-$1,307 for the three bedroom units.

That's why only 60 units are sold. If the demand is high, more than 80% will be sold and more units will be released for sale due to overwhelming response.
Wheelock has lost its touch in timing market.
The late MD used to be very good in buying land at the right price and time.
Wheelock bought the land for scott square before the current property bloom.

However, every company is worth something, isn't it?
I am waiting for the price to drop further before going in......
