Audi only playing catch up game in the last couple of years.
BMW has always been the "buy" for the young and rich.
For the ultra rich and young, there's always the Ferraris and the Lamborghinis, possibly the Paganis as well.

You have been to china and I reckon that you must have seen the brand "大众" or "上海大众"? The other popular brand is "通用". Both names are the literal translation of the brands Volkswagen and General Motors. In case you are not aware, Volkswagen is the first or one of the first to establish a joint venture plant in China in 1984. Audi (and Skoda) are subsequently brought in by Volkswagen too. Due to the differences in vehicle taxes (just like many countries including Malaysia), it is significantly cheaper to buy a locally assembled car.....

Sorry what is your point? My point was that Audi seemed to be more preferred than BMW and Merc in China for the young rich... not talking about the uber rich though
