Britain allow listed company to report result every 6 months has ignites some debate here.
Mr Kenny Yap, The Fish from Qian Hu:
"I hope that the change (back to 6 month) happens in Singapore.
Quarterly reporting may be in line with corporate governance concept, but most companies do not see the benefit to quarterly reporting.
The value to shareholder is not that significant either."
Despite his firm fall below the $75m threshold, Kenny choose to report quarterly.
However, he favours a return to old way.
