Quite sad that Long House will be gone and replaced with yet another tasteless mass market development with the attendant food court.
1980s - One A&W restaurant
1900s-2000s- Many stalls, one foodcourt
In the near future - Many shops, many residential units
2030 - Plot ratio increased to 80.0, thus 80 storeys fully maximized with multi storey carpark, no space wasted.
5 storeys of carpark, 10 storeys of commercial space, 65 storeys of residential units.
1 floor 20 units of 60sqm each, able to house 80pax per floor or 5200 pax for the residential units.
Add 40 shops per floor and you get 400 shops.
2060 - Underground space becomes all the range. Another 40 storeys being added underground.
Lavender food court will be gone by year end too.
