quite easy, jus pay $$ to hire some IT specialist to trace the hacker. Money is not a issue for Sg.

I am not IT security expert though. But, most of the information leaks are due to installation of applications from unknown sources, accessing unsafe websites(porn, gambling, sharewares etc) and multiple users on one PC.

Since PC is rather cheap, if you think your information is important, it may be easier to buy a PC/notebook for your own use and do not share it with others.
Cleaning and controlling the PC configuration is a pretty tiring stuff and not interesting.

Switching to a Mac may help too since relatively less hackers target Mac(though Mac is not exactly much secured than Windows but certainly has less malwares, viruses and trojans).

Thanks again, for your sharing. i agree. i have upgraded my mother board+necessaries then suddenly i found i can't log in to my Computershare.com US. Computershare.com US very KIASU. They only allow me to login again after calling them. Of course i made Computershare.com collect the call. Just imagine i have to pay for the call. It's a small bomb to me. It's very funny to me, Computershare USA doesn't believe in solving problem through email. Can email be encrypted? Why the extra cost of long distance call?
Even for my kids, when they grow up, I will get them a notebook rather than sharing. Who knows what will happen when they start to meddle with my notebook.

Used to do that in the past. Quite fun.

Can try Skype. The quality is quite awesome(can't seem to detect the difference from IDD) and much much lower in cost.

Skype to Skype is FOC, not necessary with PCs. Skype can also be installed in smartphones and tablets.

How to use it? Well, standard answer is refer to user manual Big Grin

The ‘Messiah’ has been caught...

Suspected ‘Messiah’ hacker charged in court

SINGAPORE — The man alleged to have hacked into Government websites under the moniker “The Messiah” was charged in the Subordinate Courts today (Nov 12).

James Raj, 35, has been charged under the Computer Misuse and Cybersecurity Act with carrying out “unauthorised modifications” to websites here, including adding an image of Guy Fawkes mask on the Ang Mo Kio Town Council website. He is said to have used a computer in Kuala Lumpur to carry out the hacks.

He also allegedly added a banner with the message: “I have been to various sites and seen how they take the initiative to secure their systems. You have a brain & you have money. You had a choice. Don’t blame external factors (Anonymous) for this hack. The Messiah Wink

Raj is also accused of adding a banner with the words: “MP Ang Hin Kee, I would like to tender my resignation as your minister of parliament”.

The police said in a statement that Raj was arrested on suspicion of carrying out the hacking attacks on websites including that of City Harvest Church co-founder Sun Ho and the People’s Action Party Community Foundation.

There are many different types of International calling card easily available that costs about $10 each and allow you to make a few hundred minutes of overseas call, depending on which country you are calling. This will bypass the expensive IDD call. Of all the cards I have tried, Phoenix card has the best reception. With this, you can call and chit chat with Computershare USA as often and as long as you like Big Grin

The so called "Messiah" was arrested on 4th November which means that the police was already outside his apartment recording all his activities or basically, caught red-handed.
