I agree that the forum is more like another CNA or HWZ. I didn't participate at all in the forum.
Few features I found useful to me are
- the filtered announcement (as already highlighted)
- the filtered insider trades
- re-configurable data, either on quarterly or yearly
- benchmark with other market indexes
- price chart aligned with corporate actions
Those are few I used frequently, might not necessary the only good features of shareinvestor.

Appreciate the effort for the website but I notice that the feed has not been updated promptly since 2014.
Sorry, there's some issues with our server right now. Someone in the team accidentally shut it down for CNY. Looking to get it updated soon, but it might be 6/2 before it gets back online.

Also, for a while now the images for the PDF icon have been missing, leaving just a tiny placeholder - a bit hard to click to load the announcements. Please bring back the PDF icon!
