Another building material company is Jason Holdings.

Jason listed only 2 years and already in red , lost 1.9m in first half of 2013. Small company can also lose so much .
SGX should check all these companies why they lose so much money immediately after listing . It is the retail investors who lose their monies.

High cost of transportation and manufacturing of materials are challenges faced by material companies, the lack of efficient and cost effective logistics / manufacturing plants will increase their burdens. Bigger companies tend to have a advantage over start-ups. Unless start-ups can find a way to mitigate these costs.

Because IPO still got people buy.
This company reported HY loss of 1.9m in Aug but share price has been more than double from 0.20.
Most of their assets are in receivable 27m vs share equity of 14.5m.
Gross margin of only 12.5m.
