Furthermore my wife & me may one day "retire" there.
My wife likes Shoe Box because of very easy housekeeping.
Not me.

Any advice for my son as a Newbie Property Sale Person from experienced Property Sale agents
Thanks.

Get him to market your own unit, but treat him as any other agent? Don't give face.

Ha! Ha!

i always tell him the story of the Bible about how the master is going away how he treats each of his 3 servants when he comes back.

So that's why those who have are given even more and those that have little, even the little they have are taken away.
Very sad but it is usually the truth in life.
Cheers!

Hope skywoods can reduce the price further. They started off with 25% discount I think.
Skywoods is so unpopular!

Look like there will be alot of leftovers units when all these devt are completed in 2016/2017.
US appears to be on a gradual albeit volatile recovery track, which will in turn stabilize the global economy. So I don't see a price plunge in the Singapore ppty market, as Singapore economy tends to be sensitive to global economic situation. Maybe a price stagnation or small decline due to oversupply coming onto the market, but significant price falls does not seem likely, unless something goes awry with the US economy.
I came across this paragraph in The Straits Times Page A8

...........

Marketing manager Cherlyn Loke, 28, who bought a 1,141 sq ft three-bedder at Thomson Three for around $1,400 psf, told The Straits Times she liked the unit layout and location........

(so rich.......? or overstretched?)
more like dont know how to think or dont know how to find similarly priced but better deals closer to town area

Now that it's a buyers' market, only properties near mrt location can sell, especially those with many shoebox units. Skywoods wil have to reduce prices further to entice buyers. Sky Habitate has too many big units and this far too pricey for the mass market buyer.

Top Global that had launched 3 projects in Serangoon did not do well with the Maisons and The Quinn project either. Expect more price cuts in the next few months as sales continue to moderate.
