(Toa payoh going up, woodland going up, jurong going up...where is going down? I am confused....Tongue)

"Second, I think that more likely than not, the prices of homes in Toa Payoh will go up. Why? Because if you look at the map, Toa Payoh is in the centre.

Woodlands going up?

I didn't read any news that Woodlands is going up. It is one of the places where prices are not going up right?

Ahhh...that is in Admiralty and an experiment.

I agree the whole of Woodlands price will go up once everything is up from the regional town to the waterfront , the new Thomson MRT and the connection to J.B. etc..

However, that will take about 10 to 20 yrs? who knows? =)

In the meanwhile, inflation will lead to price increase as well.

All up across the board due to inflation.
Hmm.. if that's the case, I wonder why my salary is not up.

This is as good as.. Guys! Don't sell this stock!! if you sell already you cant buy back! .. KT from our minister. You buy that?
Salary must be kept low so that Singapore remains competitive. One way of doing this is the import of FTs.

I tend to agree with defence minister.

Toa Payoh, Bishan, Tiong Bahru - these are the very central HDB towns.

Transport - Connectivity via public transport is excellent. These days, taxis are very expensive.

Food - The older mature estates has wet markets and hawker centres. Food are priced very reasonably in the hawker centres, especially where there are many senior citizens

Facilities - From 24 hr GIANT to clinics, the mature estates has more facilities. The CC near my home has an air con reading room too

Library - Toa Payoh, Bishan and AMK has their own library BUILDING. In the Bishan library, can even find Wall Streets Journal and Economist magazine.
DR Ng gave good hints prior to ydays hdb 'cm'. Dont sell coz now more PRs can rent from you rooms or whole unit.
