Happy Birthday to my Motherland.
Even though decreasing lesser people are putting up their flags every year, I still managed to grab hold of one and proudly hang it up.
No, having some bangalas workers to hang the flags along high visibility areas, courtesy of RC or Town Councils funds don't count ok.

Frankly, I am not sure whether my grandchildren or even children would be having their roots here but I would hope that I would be buried here at the end.

To all my fellow brothers and sister citizens, to all those who still have a kinship to our country worldwide regardless of your reasons of being overseas, its OUR common birthday today.

Have fun and an enjoyable long weekend. Cool

Happy holidays to all ValueBuddies! Big Grin
Although there are visibly lesser red flags hung out, I am still proud of where we are. Salute to our forefathers who had the foresight for our island and remarkably transformed Singapore.

I hope that our Singapore identity remains in tact and we can still be gracious in midst new pressures.

Decked in red top and white pants today, wishing all value believers a happy 48th National Day! Cool

since it is national day, I have a question how to value the island if there is ever a buyout?
