I am not a game player, but I assume this is significance to Mediacorp in capturing gaming market share in the region.
MediaCorp signs licensing for MMORPG Yulgang 2
SINGAPORE — Fans of massively multiplayer online role playing games ((MMORPG) take note. Yulgang 2, the follow up to the hugely popular Yulgang game, will soon be available here.
MGame, the makers of the Yulgang MMORPG franchise, signed the licensing agreement with Cubinet Interactive, which will be publishing the game in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. The game will be translated into English and Mandarin for these markets.
The signing took place at MediaCorp, which has a majority stake in Cubinet, the Malaysian digital games publisher.
