This is the only serious negative in this quarter release.

And I see no detail about it.

At the closing price of $0.85 today, and with a 3-month EPS of 5.21c/share (annualized EPS of 20.9c/share), Mr. Market is valuing MTQ at about 4.1x PER. Considering Bahrain's operations are scaling up and PSL is performing healthily, plus the business is generating good FCF, I don't see why Mr. Market shouldn't value the business at a higher multiple.

The EPS for 1Q 2013 is a conservative one, as revenue for oilfield and engine systems both increased +10% respectively. If we assume Bahrain starts contributing to the Group's bottom-line in subsequent periods, the EPS could increase further. I also look forward to better cash flows and hopefully a higher total dividend for FY 2013 (FY 2012: 4c/share; 2c interim and 2c final).

Thanks Nick,

I was waiting for this writeup, but you beat me to it by posting it up first, haha.
There are eager buyers but not so eager sellers. Valuation is so good, why sell indeed!
The scrip issue price will be determined by the average of the next three market days' closing prices, and there will probably be a 10% discount.

So for people like me who have been taking scrip for the last 3 dividend payments (this will be my fourth), I would hope for a lower closing price so that the price of my scrip shares would be lower, and I would thus be issued with more shares.

As of this writing, MTQ is trading ex-dividend at 86.5 cents. Assuming a 10% discount, the scrip issue price would be 77.85c (78c).
harloh, should have brought more before the CD... the share price was also 77cts before just the last few days...
no wonder some players suddenly bid up the price..

aiyah, some market manipulations at play.

Next year, will not be CAUGHT by this manipulations!
