Please stay on topic. Thanks.
Based on what I am reading, the sentence structure, poise, and the essence of many postings supporting the loquat are very similar, though from seemingly different users.

You know who you are.

I wish the moderator can open his eyes to prevent any form of hijacking by syndicates.
i rly think it's kind of pointless for us to argue about sino here.

even though im vested in sino. i absolutely agree that it has been/has now become a binary play event. however we argue it here, might? potentially could? influence the share price a little bit in the short run? which is to the pros/cons of any traders.

i don't see how any long term holders would care about all these (unless of course the so-called long term holders decide to trade around this stock).

(vested and of course hoping that the binary event turning out right =)
Newman9 report in Sep 14 stated that "as part of its research process, Euromonitor carries out extensive conversations with leading manufacturers, distributors and trade associations to develop a consensus view of the total size of the market and share for each major player. It is our understanding that very little information about Garden Fresh could be found during trade interview and hence the company was excluded from Euromonitor."

If Newman9's understanding is correct, Sino Grandness is courting big trouble in asking Euromonitor to carry out a survey.

Can the Euromonitor report rescue its share price? Could they be using it for the IPO? Sorry I am not too sure hence asking.

Why would the loquat even think about going to Thailand and Hongkong when the market in China is so much bigger?

Hi Tiongkokgor

thanks for the reply. I am sure Sino Grandness is not that stupid, otherwise big trouble for them now that they have the iPO coming up. This can only mean that they are prepared to be scrutinized, which is good.

But my question is about the relevance of the report. Why are they doing it now if its not for the IPO? Sorry i am not a IPO specialist and am trying to piece the puzzle together, since Sino Grandness is quite quiet on the IPO. If its meant for the IPO, this means that they are proceeding with the spin off as plan...but that is only if report is needed for the IPO. Anyone familiar with IPO can help old greenhorn here?

Read in the magazine that they have to wait a month or so for the Euromonitor report to be out. Does that mean then that they will submit the forms after that?
Pardon my ignorance. Thanks again for shedding some light.

Vested small small recently after some coffee shop talk and waiting in anticipation for IPO. Smile

by the way this site is informative.
Huang said during the business update meeting 2wks ago, that they specifically engage euromonitor to perform the survey. They are going to have both Frost and Sullivan, and euromonitor reports. Isn't this obvious enough? He is a businessman...

Isn't it a good sign for Garden fresh to go international? What is wrong with that? If there an opportunity why waste it?

You should know that Hin sang is listed in the HKSE and bringing Garden fresh to 200 welcome stores and 900 7-eleven stores in Hong Kong. PM group or TTA will be distributing to Thailand and rest of ASEAN.

Going international is part of Huang's overall strategy even as he grows his domestic business. What do you think next week's participation in the trade show is for if Huang is not keen to grow the business in China?

The following Nextinsight article suggests that Sino Grandness is in talk with international banks to borrow more to tie over, if bondholders do not want to wait beyond June/July if Garden Fresh still cannot get itself listed by then:

Sino CEO told The Edge (16 Mar) that investors may be roped in to take over the expiring bonds or invest directly in Garden Fresh.

This additional option is feasible only if Garden Fresh has been popular in China. The Thai investors should have done their checks before deciding to be the distributor of Garden Fresh juices in Thailand in the second half of this year.

Hi Behappy
Just for your info, TTA is a listed company in Thailand where management has responsibility and accountability. They cannot simply anyhow tikum and take a bet even if they could afford it. Maybe if its your own company, you can. Smile

thanks.
