Like Coca Cola, the Garden Fresh brand may one day be licensed out with manufacturing processes managed by the licensees.

Sina Grandness was incorporated in Singapore on 2007, and listed on 2009. Annual revenue was around half a billion S$

Coca-cola began in 1886, and survived and remained prosperous till today. Annual revenue was around half of 100 billion US$

It is inappropriate to compare the company with Coca-cola, which is way out in all aspects, IMO

(a view base on few simple fundamentals)

huh sorry I dont understand. Where is the comparison between Coca Cola and SInoG in Adagio's post.? If can compare, then I horsay liao.

Didn't i see Coca cola in the post? Tongue

Anyway, feel free to ignore it. It is just a view from a biased not-vested, and non-believer. Big Grin

No surprises that people DO believe trees will grow into the sky. Big Grin
If i own this stock, using this as a contrarian signal, it is most probably time to start to think of selling it.

Tell that to Jack Ma...Many many many years ago, ppl also say the same thing abt the moon. So far away..cannot reach. Haiz.

Alibaba is a tech company, and one unique of tech company, is a highly scale-able biz, either up or down.

The company biz is F&B, which is hardly comparable to Alibaba in growth rate, IMO

Ops, another biased post from a not vested and non-believer. Big Grin

In all fairness i think Adagio is talking about the structure and that is largely irrespective of the scale

Objectively i think the incorporations are positive developments in the desired direction

Once upon a time in China, there was Jack Ma, Jack Ding, Jack Lim and Jack Chen. Besides having the same english name, all 4 of them possess extraordinary insight, were ambitious and above all, had the temperament/tenacity to match their innate ambition. Jack Ma believed in connecting people with their purchases online, Jack Ding believed in finding a cure of AIDS. Jack Lim worked 18hr, 7days a week to make his hydrogen 'clean energy' fuel cell as cost-efficient as conventional sources. Jack Chen loved trees since he was young and with his plantology genetic background, believed he would one day create a tree that can grow into the sky....Fast forward to 15years and all 4 promising men had labored and paid their dues, but it is NO surprise, which is the Jack that we all know today.. Smile

Just in case, you don't understand where i am coming from - one word to describe it all, survivorship bias. We only see the survivors, the losers just keep quiet....In an alternate history (borrowing this term from Nassim Taleb), if WWW accessibility did not proliferate and somehow a few lab experiments 'went lucky', it would be a different Jack that we all worship now.

I used to dream alot about the holdings in my portfolio too...Would ChinaMilk become MengNiu Dairy? Would Asiawater solve the water needs in China's rapid drive for urbanization? Would PacificHealthcare become the next Mount Elizabeth of Singapore? It took me some time to realize most of these dreams only exist in my head and i was kidding myself. We can have great dreams to achieve for ourself, but at best to keep dreams out of stocks.
Vested but keeping a conservative view.

Still too early to say anything. But I really don't think it will be the next 王老吉, let alone Coke.

Leeta, you don't have to link everything. It is a well designed shop, but it is also 1 of many well designed shop. I have also tried Tao Bao Garden Fresh Loquat Juice in the past, but it is not the top seller of Loquat juice online (interestingly).

I say, try to be realistic in our expectations.

Sino Grandness, if their books are real, presents a good value and short term growth proposition, and it doesn't seem that the slowing Chinese economy is slowing them down, only this much I am certain.
