Hi Chogal,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for the short intro. An MBA is very useful for giving insights into various aspects of a business such as Management, Marketing and Corporate Strategy. I found mine to be very useful in terms of helping myself understand businesses better, and to be able to relate to them. The concepts that you learn can be put to practice in real-life situations when you analyze companies, finds out what makes them tick and whether or not they have competitive advantages.

Wishing you good luck on your investment journey. We have a lot of very learned and serious investment folks here who have a wealth of knowledge. I myself am trying to learn from them daily! Smile

Enjoy your stay here.

Hi David, and welcome.

May I find out what M.COM is? Marketing Communication?

Thanks and enjoy your stay.
David500 is most likely a bot.
Oh I see. I was wondering how did a guy get banned within a day.

I must admit I (almost) got fooled by a machine! How do you tell for sure? I thought it sounded suspicious, but....oh well. Huh

His other posts are also like this.
He registered himself in unearthly hour of 1-2am, Singapore time.
He literally lifted the text off chogal and added some additional text.(same with his other posts in other thread).

His nickname sucks...haha

There are plenty of these bots trawling the net.

Eg. of bot software.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XRumer

Quote:Webmasters of topical forums face an ongoing battle against XRumer software, users of which are almost always in violation of forum terms of service, and/or have no interest in the actual forum topic. The users of the software have created an entire industry whose sole purpose is to protect internet sites against users of XRumer. Forum administration tasks against XRumer are often a constant, daily effort, which include identifying new user accounts that are from XRumer users, deleting posts/threads created by the software, and deleting/disabling the user accounts.

The easiest method to defeat Xrumer is to simply require the first post of any new forum member or blog poster to be approved before it can appear.
