The article simplifies a lot of things that may not happen in real life. It's not true that if a person treat her family good, she would treat her husband good as well. Sometimes, the husband is only been treated as an ATM machine to help her family. Once the ATM machine breaks down, she would look for another ATM machine. He wrote his things based on personal experience. I also have my personal experience and my personal experience is totally different from what he has written. Gals these days are not like our parents' generation.
What are the main few qualities that u guys will use to determine a gal is of gd wife material?
a simple test: give her a credit card and simply ask her to buy what she feel like buying.... when u get the bill at the end of the month check whether u find and prada, lv etc.
if 1mth not enough, extend it for a few months. the true character should show.

Brilliant. A very good test but still expensive. When a girl is getting ready to marry you, she will actually help you save money. She will admonish you when you are spending too much. This is because as a couple, the finances will be combined to buy property and pay for children expenses. Therefore, it is in her interest to make sure your finances are in good shape. You can only tell from this behavior that she is ready to marry you but not necessarily she is of good wife material.
if she buy prada or lv means liddat she is materialistic meh? For that you dun want to marry her ... wah I think too much lah nobody is perfect mah maybe she has other redeeming qualities leh.

When it comes to such things I mean ladies they may go gaga over such things but honestly these days don't guys also have their own toys and gadgets? They like to Zeng' their cars, play with hifi, buy lenses for expensive cameras all these will amount to several thousands also what.

If all you want to get married for is mainly to get combined income for investing and don't go out movies or dinners no holidays even just scrimp and save and penny pinch on everything then I think it's going to be a very dull marriage. Investing can also be considered an expensive hobby what. Then you can do this but she not allows her shopping therapy .. wah I see problems down the road bro.

Don't discount possibility either one could runaway too Big Grin
My 2 cents. Humans are creatures of influence. If you want a partner with a good character, lead the relationship and influence with the correct values. Eventually, the partner will follow suit. In any case if the other party is unable to compromise and adjust, the relationship will gradually fade away. So key message, be a better man yourself first.
