They are aware the unit holders couldn't do much to the manager even they are being screwed.

If don't like the company or management, just don't hold on to the shares then. I believe this is the best that I can do.

Yes, fully agree. No need to hang around and grumble as there're lots of choices around...Cool

When it comes to REITs, we have to look out for signs of how the REIT Mgr balance their own interest (by increasing AUM => higher income) and that of unitholders. The higher the stake in the REIT which the REIT Mgr has, IMO, the less likely they'll do Placements at huge discounts as any Value Destruction will also affect them in higher proportions.

Today, thanks to Ben's surprise move last night, I'm glad I got the choice to do my selling at a higher price than I thought possible... Wink

Rights issue, complain net cash outflow. Place out shares, complain kenna diluted and issued too cheaply.

I tend to agree with Nick. True test of the corporate action is whether unit holders are paid more or less after it is completed....

The immediate impact is a slight reduction of DPU due to the cost of acquisition. For the next Q, I'm doubtful that we'll see any increase in DPU from a half occupied industrial building. We'll have to wait till at least another Q to allow them to fully lease out the extra space to see if it adds to the DPU. In the meantime, I can afford to wait... but am flexible.. can come back any time as Sabana has been now reclassified (in my list) as a good... short term stock.

PS. I was vested previously since shortly after IPO and stuck with them till now (despite all the gripes by others, whether vested or not), definitely not the sort who goes aro' complaining about anything and everything the REIT Mgr do....Rolleyes

Good Luck to all vested!

haha... you words make me embarrassedBlushBlush... (I am one of the complain KING... )But I thought management performance by their actions should be debated, because numbers just make up one part of the equation, managment actions, make up the other large part..

Surprisingly, the price show good resilence, also, whether investors are sanguine or complaining will tell a lot about one's entry price... isn't it!! Tongue your entry price should be quite cool!! hehe..

Lucky you...enjoying all the years of dividend. Make me jealous. Didn't get started on investing till end last year...all those years, I've been sleeping..haha.

Agree with you, am looking for the price to drop a little more before entering. After the fed announcement, looks like no chance liao. The price shot back up very quickly after XD.

Next few days see how. If price don't drop, then I'll just keep the cash.

When it comes to investment, I'm really just a super rookie. Not many will go pay down HDB loan when they got cash. Guess I'm one of the rare ones. Then leave myself with less cash to invest. I'm an idiot.

Not referring to you lah.... Any posts that has more than 2 lines (not cut-and-paste ones) is usually worth reading as the author must have put in effort to do research and thinking...Cool

Yes, thanks in large part to Ben, we're seeing STI +50 and lifting many boats. But, I chicken little, afraid the sky is falling...Blush

Well, I do pay off my HDB when I get enough in my cpf acc. It is just a choice. Nothing wrong. It is like arguing over taking a 5yr loan vs a 30yr one.

If you have vested interest, you have the rights to complain. Afterall... YOU owns part of the company. Big Grin

All REITS running up today. Make my portfolio looks better. Less red now. Smile

Haha, yea, rare that I open up the monitor list and see all in the +ve.

Sabana, fly, fly, fly away. I divested few days ago, lost a little. Lucky I took profit during good times to cover.

Now looks like price going up, up and away, and without me on it Dodgy

The XD like got no impact like dat.

I think now unitholders can email to manager and ask, "WHAT FOMC MEETING? SEE LA, NO TAPER LEI, NOOOO TAPPPPERRRR! GIVE $1 SOMEMORE! SHAME SHAME"

Then end with some strange punctuation #@!%$!###%^^

How's that?
Does anyone know the expected income from the acquisition? Or the expected effect on DPU.
Apologies if this is already posted but I have missed it
There is still no news on the renewal of lease.
