Yesterday, someone holding large amount from UBS sold more than 800 lots "one mouth" and cleared the 28.5 cents buy queue. I bought some at 28.5 cents and some at 28 cents.

From the latest annual report, there are only 19 shareholders holding more than 1000 lots. There should not be many such "one mouth" sellers. Bought some at 28.5 cents today, UBS sold some to me again.

After the release of good 2Q results, hope to see some "one mouth" buyersBig Grin

I believe no harm trying my luck to queue some at 28.5 cents especially for counters with low volume. There might be someone who is holding "large amount" and is waiting for "huge buy volume" to sell his shares "one mouth". I tried before for some counter with low volume, you queue 100 lots, no one sell, but if you queue 1000 lots, you get all of it.

I rarely use this term (because I feel it's been overused by forumers), but I believe this one's a real gem. If you haven't taken a close look, I recommend that you do and decide for yourself.

How are you able to tell that the sale was from UBS?

Still learning the ropes of investing. Smile
Hi Ferns, for every transaction, you can check out the details of the opposite seller / buyer via your brokerage platform.
Hi Ferns : If your trade is done online, you should be able to check the counter party who sold the shares to you or bought your shares.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Hi sykn, I feel the same way too.

The figures over the past 5 years has been encouraging, but I'm seeing a tightening of profit margins reflected in the latest 1Q and 2Q - on the backdrop of higher manpower costs. The cash balance could've been higher, however, they made a loan to an associate. Nonetheless, it is a well managed company.

I like to buy things cheap, and judging by what happening around the world, I will wait patiently.
there were still lots of sellers at 29 cents (~500 lots), despite the good results...strange..
If the RNAV is $0.84 (twice book NAV), any fundamental reason why the counter is trading at 70% discount to RNAV?

Cld you kindly share the key upcoming projects (launched and fully-sold?) that will take it from its book NAV ($0.4256) to its RNAV of $0.84?
or how RNAV of 0.84 is derived?

tks.

(31-07-2014, 09:06 PM)sykn Wrote: [ -> ]Curiousparty, you mean it current NAV? $0.4256 according to Shareinvestor.com. Using the method described in Robert Montgomery's book "Value-able", I calculated the intrinsic value to be at least twice its NAV, but there is some subjectivity involved as you've got to decide on values for certain parameters such as Investor Rate of Return (shown in his book). Hope it helps.
Two consecutive "one mouth" trades cleared 29 cents and 29.5 cents.
we need a real down time to see how the management play the shareholder value game. At that time, the working capital will be low and the cash will a lot more. What will the management do with the cash on hand.
