I am speculating that the special dividend is 25 cents (the least known) to 32 cents (maximum) excluding the final dividend already announced.

The special dividend is more than i am expected. 35.5 cents actual vs 32 cents expected.

NTA post disposal is around 60 cents with China associates valued at cost. Shell company is worth something if RTO goes through. If not, liquidation and cash distribution will take 1.5 to 2 years.
Last done price was 53 cents with 1.5 cents dividend and 35.5 cents special dividend thrown in to be paid by end Nov. After one month, cost on purchase is reduced to 53 - 1.5 - 35.5 = 16 cents with an uncertain but likely payoff of 60 - 1.5 - 35.5 = 23 cents in 2 years time (excluding all transaction costs).
IRR is > 20% per year. Should have more upside today.

The risk is on the china associate. They can go bankrupt in future (less likely but possible), but their book value can also continue to grow in next 1-2 years.

If the target RTO company want the China Associate to be disposed before injecting the asset into the company, what are possible and likely method?
Distribute associates' share to all shareholder? Chew Khim Bok buy over minority's share? The China associate buy over Elite's share?
