(watch 16:00 on a good investor)
Don't get me wrong. I am not implying he is not good. In fact I think he must be very good in property investment. He must have lived his life watching many properties cycles come and go. I think he is so good at it that he does not wish to invest in other things like shares. Just like some of us here would rather buy shares than alternative investments because they are comfortable and know what they are doing. Even if the stock market crashed, do you think mr lee will put money in his company shares or rather pick up more properties at depressed prices?

the problem is that he does not really care about share price as the higher share price does not benefit him a bit. The lower the share price is, the better. He can slowly buy back the ownership of the Co. cheaply. the exception will be that the Co. need money from the public, then maybe he will care about share price.
Dont see a reason why value investors will sell Sing Holdings at this price give n the deep value it possess. Probably Margin calls and force sellings.
did they sold any "Laurels" unit in May 2012? Some property agents might know. Otherwise, got to wait till 19th June.
There is one unit under negotiation now. A 4 bedroom unit, but as I understand, cheque has yet to be submitted! If the deal is closed my friend can make 35k in commission! Big Grin
propertyinvestor, so you are working as property agent? If not, how do you get this information unless you're working for Sing Holdings???

not me, but my friend is the one brokering the deal Smile Anyway, even if the deal is closed, earliest caveat will probably be lodged is in June.
Maxdin is a subsidiary of UE!
in fact, i hope Singhdgs do not bid for fresh land in the next 12 months as earnings from Robin Drive can last them till 2016 if they launch it in March 2013. I got a feeling they can get land 20% or 30% cheaper near end 2013 if Euro crisis start to burst out full force with Spain being kick out from Euro or Spanish banks re-capitalised further. Hope SingHdgs can be more patient in bidding for fresh land.

Just my personal opinion only.
Omg, somebody bought 550lots today at 30.5c!!
