My rational is that if the stock market had a drastic fall, it would be hard for a company's share price to maintain or even rise. Not impossible but hard. Although a good counter will fall less than the others.

Why I would want a share buyback is that we all know the company's present share price is way below its NAV and it would grow further when its site in Robin is launched. So why not make some good investment by buying its own share at present price. I am of the view that the stock market might have a drastic fall later and I doubt the price will hold then. It would be nice if company does a share buyback during then to increase shareholders' stake in the company(by reducing the number of shares) while 'supporting' the share price.

I am sure when the company is paying good dividend, a lot of people will know it, on the Edge or not, covering by analysts or not.

if by the rule of Peter Lynch, it is better no one knows about it if it is good.

but if the company does a share buyback to "support" share price, will you sell your share?

if not, it really does not matter that much what is the price and whether the price is supported or not when there is going to be a fall. It would be nice that the price is low enough so interested shareholders can buy more at lower price.

If yes, in a way, you are choosing trading over investing. There gotta be some consequences after that. Obviously, the company will not be in a position to improve the trading of its shares, but enhance its value. The share price could be undervalued for very long. Of course it is always nice to have a good exit so that we can look at other maybe even more undervalued counters as well, but everything has a price.

all assumptions are based you having the conviction that it is good and undervalued.

So if share price falls, I take consolation that my stake in a good company increased as the company does a share buyback. Rather than company does nothing at all or that significant shareholders increased their stake.

Can I say that in a way you feel exposed more than what you are comfortable with and how much you really believe in the company and hope the management can do something to boost confidence?

Personally, I believe we will have better luck to rely on ourselves than relying on management to do something for us.
Hmmmm. Vol so low, is the moving average price applicable? Only with huge vol, then moving average is meaningful.... my 2 cents thought
I hope so.... thanks
Net profit for 3Q 2011 is $14,177k Full Year 2010 Net profit $9,837k
EPS at 3Q is $0.0354 versus Full year (2010) $0.0245

What will be the dividend for FY2011 versus 0.75 cents for FY2010?

Orchard Parade Holding(OPH) and hiap Hoe were highlighted as 2 of the stocks likely to have better earning compared to
last year. Somehow Sing Holding is neglected!!

dividend probably won't be much. most cash still locked in project account, which can't be used to pay dividend if I am not wrong.

pay attention to its "dividend paid to non-controlling interest" in cash flow statement, if that shoots up, means money out of project account can be used for dividend.

Woots! Got ppl selldown to me at 30c!

Funny lots of sellers... I guessed people got impatient and took opportunity to sell. No buzz in this company so people don't know got people working in office or not....haa haa haa....website also no update.....

320/325 tough nut......let's see let's see

Why should I sell a company whose fair value is 60cents at 30cents? And the NAV reported by the company is already written down after factoring all the company's expenses. So its just pure profit all the way to 2013.
