What do you think of selling off this stock? Is it worth keeping? If this tortoise stock price is so low and dividend so low.... then what is the use of keeping it? Even though the business is good, but minority shareholder dun enjoy the fruit, then what is the use? You cant expect a bowl of cheng thng to be always 50cents, right? Now one cheng thng already $1.80 liao. Sorry for sounding sour..... I really pek chek with this one, seeing other stock price is changing except this one.... Every day 0 volume.... wa lau.... dead stock!

There is no buzz on this company which i explained in my earlier messages....no analyst coverage.....which the director deemed not necessary during the last AGM...well during the AGM many minority shareholders are happy with the directors' decision to do things as they deem fit....so we give it a year and let's see if these minority shareholders are happy to continue as per normal....

look at today volume...0 sales....got to 'HOPE' that the director aggressively buy some shares before announcement else no one buys and share price languish.....minority shareholders in the weak position of selling only to director who is the 'only' big buyer around since no share buyback, no analyst coverage and very low profile.....

Hi, any reason why you are not using this period to buy more since I sense that you have strong conviction in this company? Assuming say $0.10 EPS and NTA going up, the chance of having 6% dividend yield backed by solid balance sheet looks good?

Not vested

another day of ZERO volume!
Wonder if Sti go up to 3300 will these tortoise stock still at 0.28? I confirm it will.
Property Project : The Laurels
Update: Sing Holding Dec 2011
Cumulative Units Sold to-date: 214
Median Price ($psf) in the Month: N.A.
Units sold in Dec 2011: 0
Cumulative Units Launched but Unsold: 15
93.5% out of total units of 229 is sold.

Look like the latest government measure is affecting the property market by quite a lot, from Dec 11 including sale of EC is 670 compared to 1855 Nov 11.

This stock will start to move when STI hits above 3000, in the meantime, its a good idea to slowly accumulate. The NAV of this share will snowball to 0.60 by 2013. And there are no more expenses to be charged.

Another zero volume day. While other stock is flying.
Wow 70000lot today
does it really matter what is the price now if you have the conviction that it is really worth much more(not value trap)? for an investor, a buyer, it is always good to have the stuff selling cheap; for a seller, of course, we would always like someone to pay more for the stuff.

to enhance shareholder value, normally I would prefer the company is generous to share its profit through dividend with its shareholders rather than other means such as share buyback. I believe the managers/directors of a company is not obliged to improve the share price, in a way, share buyback is improving share price directly or indirectly. If the share price is low relative to its real value, investors should be happy to pick it up if they really have the conviction. Why would you like the company or anyone else to compete with you in buying the shares of the company cheap?

if you have the conviction that Sing Holdings will be worth 60 cents in 2013-2014, you would prefer it staying below 30 cents before 2013, so that you can always pick it up anytime you want. Isn't it better than it trading in 40 cents that even if you want to pick up more, probably it is not cheap enough?

but is Sing Holdings shareholder-friendly enough to share its profit with its shareholders? possible, it did pay generous special dividend earlier when it sold its investment in China. will it continue to be that generous when The Laurels completes?

focus more on its dividend policy, focus more on its business if you really have the conviction.

just my 2 cents.

I am sure when the company is paying good dividend, a lot of people will know it, on the Edge or not, covering by analysts or not.

if by the rule of Peter Lynch, it is better no one knows about it if it is good.
