Yup, I'm concerned that I would not be able to find buyers if I need to liquidate it quickly.

Can you share more on this statement that you made in the previous post - "The liquidity is there, CIMB has to provide it, around 7000 units for buying and selling."

Is there any of such information available?

Thank you!

Hi Pantoo,

CIMB is the designated market maker for the fund.

Earlier it used to be Citigroup.

Attached is the announcement.

When you check on SGX, you will see that there is a guaranteed bid and ask quote, this is provided by CIMB.

Attached is a screengrab.

Cheers

Hi Vathsa,

Thank you for your reply. Smile
Hi Pantoo,

One other thing to take note of is that the CIMB FTSE Asean 40 fund declares dividend in April every year.

The dividend is 0.47 SGD per unit, so, roughly 4% yield at current prices.

CIMB has announced its dividend, it is 0.35 USD per unit, as expected.

Ex Dividend on 12th April.

Dividend payout will be on 28th April.
The final dividend after conversion was SGD 0.4691 per share.

This is based on the amount credited in the account for holding the shares.

At the current price that is roughly a 4.4% yield
