Come to think of it, it might be due to copper price drop a lot while Tai Sin bought at higher prices. If this is the case, the fundamentals should remain ok.

The only saving grace is very strong cash from op. If Q4 profit remains at 2mil, than total profit will be ~15mil. About same as year 2012 if you strip away the one off insurance gain portion due to earthquake. But eps will be lesser due to higher outstanding shares.

From their inventory size, look like they are carrying around 3mths worth of inventory. If the fall in price has stopped, then the Q4 result will be better.
drop maybe but certainly will continue to remain weak for some time to come.

taisin managed to stay afloat above 30c for a few mths. once today fell below 30c after last fri result release.

Let see how much it will drop. Back to 22c?
it may take a while if it really happens. v strong support at its nav. thus rebound back slightly.
The company fortune is closely tied to copper prices, something we should all know by now. Nevertheless, Q3 result is still disappointing. Will delve into the details to find out more information, but I guess one quarter of result is not conclusive. The price drop is probably due to investors having a high expectation of the company, me included.
this counter will continue dropping until below 20 cents again. Just wait and see

Commodities gonna be weak for some time to come, so Tai Sin should be weak too
Copper price had been held steady between US$3.00 and US$3.20 over Jun/Jul period and recently climbing above US$3.30 in August.

Will we be able to see good results from Taisin in their Q4 and next Q1 reporting?

Copper price is weak for most of the time from Apr to Jun. I would think that its Q4 result will not be exciting, maybe similar to its Q3 performance. Still, because of a very good 1H performance, it is likely that TS will declare a final dividends similar to last year.

The price has run up quite a lot and is now trading close to its NAV. I have sold a portion of my shares at $0.30 and invest in another counter which seems to offer better upside.
I am hoping for a slightly better Q4 than Q3. It definitely will not be fantastic. Am watching the copper price movement to see how it will affect the company's profit and share price.

Yes, dividend will likely remain the same. Will know next week.
