Market reacting negatively to this news today ?
Very profitable company but is also being neglected. First 9 months made NP of RMB 810m.

Aberdeen asset management increased its holding by 20 million shares to 9.56% on 12 Nov.2013.
wow. they must really really love this company.
Aberdeen has a rather good track record as a value investor. Wonder what they see in it. Wouldnt really consider it super cheap compared to the other HK-listed Chinese developers.
Another '' positive news '' immune counter. Smile
China stock effects?
I think Aberdeen does not do bottom-fishing.
Most of the time, they just buy because the see a value counter selling at a price that they can not refuse.
And then they hold it for very long term.

A traditional, if I do not want to hold the stocks for ten year, I will not buy even for a single day.

Aberdeen criteria - not just Value. Good Mgt. Good Corp Governance.

Need the above coz they are managing OTHER PEOPLE MONEY.

They flop before. Saytam.
Free float only 15%, so not easy for big boys to collect at lower possible prices. Require times and skill to collect cheaply, otherwise price will shoot up too fast and make cheap collections even more difficult.
Some signs of collections lately ?
