Too many . . . do not understand the necessity for present action in realizing the vision and bringing the thought-form into manifestation.
Two things are necessary.
First, the making of the thought-form, and,
second, the actual appropriation to yourself of all that goes into and around the thought-form

It is rather strange for me that people like to focus on one heuristically simple thing and go extreme. As usual 中庸之道 is the way to go. Take the positives, learn the lessons and move on in search of other positives instead of camping there.

PS I'm not even sure if pure Buddhism or 道 promote or encourage the worship of entity or admiration of individuals, else how to attain 无

I cannot foresee the results of even my most trivial act;
I do not know the working of all the forces that have be set moving in my behalf.
Much may be depending on my doing some simple act;
it may be the very thing which is to open the door to great possibilities.

This is what I did:
As long as I can remember, every time when I received a plea for donation, I'll just send back the donation form with some amount of $$$.

I feel rich I donate more and when I feel poor I donated less.

Each and everytime until I read about those bad people who mis-used donation $$$.

Then, I thought that a simple way to prevent mis-use of my donation is to do DD on the organisation and donate lump sum instead of many many small amount.

I am not happy.

After a while, I realised that I am not donating at all.

The lump sum remains in my bank.

Then, I thought that if I do small small donation and even if only a portion of it reached someone who need the $$$ then it already make sense to me.

So, you can guess what I had been doing...

My personal logic is no human being should worship another human as GOD. You can worship him as your investment idol or anything except as GOD.

If you want to 'expedite' negative karma....
you can try this. Personally I find vipassana the best way for liberation. But you need to take up a 10 day course for a start. No religion involved, no mantras and etc....just meditation....

(Like what Dalai Lama said....he is just an 'ordinary' monk. In Buddhism, no one is 'allowed' to claim to be messiahs, boddhisattvas and etc.....the only time they can claim so is when they are about to leave this world. So for those who claimed to have deep 'cultivation', I leave it to individuals to interpret. By the way, which one of us has not 'cultivated' for many lifetimes.....just that we 'cultivate' money, fame, sex and etc....money money follow me home ^^)

many years ago, a dhamma brother said that 小房子 is a tool to 'possess'. That's why when my friend told me about a 'great master' a few years ago, my advice to him is that you can chant or whatever but don't use the 小房子
