Sengkang and puggol area will be a good opportunity for growth if they are able to set up a few shop there

I think Punggol already has a Sheng Siong outlet, not sure if they would open another there. From their outlet breakdown, appears that they don't open 2 stores in a single area other than the cluster in the Bedok Area. With more HDBs due soon in the Northeast, it may be a possibility Smile

Bedok - 4 stores (as you have highlighted)
Clementi - 3 stores
Jurong - 2 stores

A glimpse at the result, here are my view

In 6 months of FY2014, revenue increased 6.5%, gross profit increased 12.8%, and net profit increased 24.2%. It tallies with my expectation.

The online store, and extended operation hours, helped in pushing up both the GPM and NPM, with higher same-store sales, online sales, and higher margin items e.g. fresh products.

No statement on the online stores. May be it is still premature to release any data.

The company remains debt-less, the full payment for Tampine Centre stores is not due yet, only deposit payment upon exercising the option. Once full payment due, I am expecting mortgage debt for the acquisition.

The interim dividend increased from 1.2 cents to 1.5 cents, a 25% increment. It should be reasonable to assume full year dividend will increase in similar %.

I will go thru the report in more detail, and will add more if any
