Have done up an analysis of a potential stagflation environment where unemployment is up, inflation is high and persistant, and economic growth is stagnant. So far, we met one condition which is inflation is high.
We revisited the 1970s and found similarities which will us a guide on the sectors that are likely to do well in a stagflation situation.
What are your thoughts on this or do you feel the inflation would just be transitory?
