Anybody got any experience in oversea property inverstment like USA? Attended the US property investment seminar in suntec today and the yield seems attractive (~10%). Any catch on that? Anybody can advise?

Property is a very local game. Even in Singapore, one needs to live and feel the difference between the various dozens of districts; while in the US, the differences are so much bigger - goes with the size of the country.
The thing to ask ourselves is: if it's such a great deal, why haven't the locals bought all of it?
